Valentine’s day is literally around the corner!

It just hit me today! …I saw in morning news a segment that suggested to send Valentine’s Care Packages to your child away in college. That is when I thought that we must do something for our customers to make it easy for them to say ‘I love you’ to their loved ones. Oh, and I am sending a care package to my son away in college, by the way. Great idea!

But enough about me! Let’s talk about you. As I said, it is almost Valentine’s Day, and what’s better way to rekindle your love and say ‘I love you’ to your spouse, girlfriend, daughter, best friend, sugar baby, mistress, and their dog with an EMRENY GIFT CERTIFICATE!*

2009 and the holidays are over…

Yes, holidays are over, and it has been a great 2009 for EMRE NEW YORK. Thanks to your unwavering support by demanding only the best you proved once more that no matter how bleek things can get, demand for good quality and great design remains! Thank you!

We have been hard at work since the first day of January and we are almost ready with our new line for 2010! After a round of shopping for new skins in Europe, Emre is still at our private factory working hand in hand with the craftspeople and our trained artisans, personally inspecting each piece before it is packed. He has been very busy meeting with our private label customers as well, helping them finalize their lines and schedule production.

Though Emre’s creative genius outpours all year long, this period, every year is very special to him. He immerses himself in his craft, cleaning up his sketches, sitting with his trusted craftsmen to create 3D pieces of usable art from 2D drawings on paper.

I have observed Emre for the first time in action -doing his craft. I had no idea how much detail goes into the planning and development phase before a single model is ready for the team to hold a knife that cuts the leather into shape to create what ‘we’ in the trade refer to as ‘the golden sample’. Maybe one day I will tell you  …if he lets me.

These are exciting times! Stay tuned!

Yes we are!  …we are all so excited! …we are all tickled pink for tackling the ‘face-lift’ing of the current web-site. …and now it is complete.

We trust this symbolic, yet substantial change signals the great things ahead for Emre New York …the brand that has become the darling of Hollywood celebs as well as the fashionistas from New York to L.A.!
